He loves her too much, but cant say it.
He cares for her more than self, cant show it.
She doesn't know how it goes,
She controls his mind in his highs and lows.
He's fallen in love way too soon,
Hoping it's not a curse, but the boon.
His love is sacred, so is he.
But is it all worth it? I ask to me.
He's depressed on the realization,
That he doesn't shine in her constellation.
This is the bad part but he's just so dumb,
Don't be amazed as the worst still has to come.
He tries digesting the dejection and moving on,
But a part of him lives in the times gone
The love is lost but his life is vast,
But he doesn't realize, still living in the past.
He accepted his defeat but he couldn't carry,
So planned to cut it loose before she's married.
As everything reminded of her, every day and every night
He closed his eyes only to get her in sight.
He grabbed the knife and said her name,
Just slit his wrist, dreaming of ending the game.
He didn't buzz his brain but followed his heart,
Sadly, that's my story folks and that's the worst part.

aww that's sad :)
ReplyDeleteLove is painful now, its just a mutual selfish thing left now days .. The moment strings are attached in a relation, the strings of "expectations" attach to it..love remains unanswered and lame..
ReplyDeleteBut some great poetry i would say written straight from the heart :-)
